Sanstylo

For osteopaths

Osteopath practice management software UK

Your first patient arrives at 9am. You check the calendar, open their notes from last week, and pick up exactly where the last session left off. Sanstylo is built around the working osteopath's day: appointments, notes between slots, invoices at the end.

A working day with Sanstylo

9am, first patient. The calendar is already colour-coded by practitioner. You click into the appointment, see the patient history, and start the session. No searching, no paper files.

Between appointments. You have ten minutes. Open the treatment note from the last session, copy previous, update the body chart annotations for today's treatment areas, and save. The note is structured, complete and filed before the next patient walks in.

End of day. Three invoices to send. You generate them from the day's completed appointments, add payment details, and mark them sent. The invoice sequence auto-increments. You close the laptop knowing the billing is done.

Body chart annotations

Every osteopath works with body regions. Sanstylo's treatment notes include clickable body charts where you annotate exactly which regions were treated. Cervical, thoracic, lumbar, pelvis, shoulder, hip: each region records its own annotation set. The next session, you see precisely what was worked on last time.

  • Multiple body charts per company for anterior, posterior and regional views
  • Annotation history carried forward when you copy a previous note
  • Chart-based notes visible in the patient treatment history

Student supervisor sign-off

Teaching clinics with osteopathy students need a clear approval chain. Students write draft notes that enter an awaiting-approval state. Supervisors review, annotate and approve them before they are marked complete. The audit trail shows who wrote, who approved, and when.

This is not a workaround: Sanstylo was designed with student-supervisor workflows from the start. Osteopathy course leaders get a dashboard of pending approvals at a glance.

From student to practice owner

Students and university osteopathy departments use Sanstylo free. When you graduate and open a practice, upgrade to a paid plan without rebuilding your clinical habits from scratch. The calendar, notes structure and booking flow you learned as a student carry straight into professional practice.

Data isolation when you share a building

Many osteopaths share premises with physiotherapists or chiropractors. Sanstylo gives each discipline its own company account so osteopathy patient records stay in osteopathy. No shared patient list, no cross-discipline visibility.

This is structural isolation, not a permissions checkbox. Read more on the data isolation page.
