Features

Practice Software with Five Data Regions (UK, EU, AU, CA)

During onboarding, choose where your patient data is stored. Sanstylo supports five data regions so you can meet local regulatory requirements and keep data close to your patients.

Five regions, one platform

Set your data region during company onboarding. The choice applies to the entire company account: all patient records, clinical notes, invoices and appointments for that company reside in the selected region.

United Kingdom

For UK-based osteopaths, physios and allied health practitioners. Compliant with UK GDPR.

European Union

For practices in EU member states. Meets EU GDPR data residency requirements.

Australia

For Australian osteopaths and allied health clinics. Data stays within Australian jurisdiction.

Canada

For Canadian chiropractors, physiotherapists and allied health professionals. PIPEDA-aware.

Rest of World

For practices outside the four main regions. Flexible storage for global clinics.

Region-aware from onboarding

The data region is set as part of the onboarding wizard, alongside your company name, practice locations, practitioners and availability. You do not need to configure regions later or migrate data between regions after setup.

Each company in Sanstylo gets its own data region selection. A teaching clinic running osteopathy in the UK and physiotherapy in the EU would use two separate company accounts, each with their own region.

Regions and isolation combined

Data regions complement Sanstylo's discipline isolation model. An osteopathy company can store data in the UK while the physiotherapy company in the same building stores data in the EU. Each discipline gets both data separation and regional placement.
